Israel asks the U.S. for energy boost | News

Israeli leaders asked the United States for energy assistance to run a new sewage facility in Gaza. The local groups of politicians fear that if the sewage facility doesn’t run, then it could lead to the spread of disease and cause environmental damage. The Gaza facility only has the power to run a few hours a day due to the lack or electricity. As a result hundreds of thousands of gallons of sewage spill at a time, and contaminate the water on the beaches, said CNN. Gaza’s authority has been forced to close the beach multiple times a year to prevent transmission of diseases by people that swim on it. Meanwhile, the Israeli government is working diligently on a viable solution.
