Hollywood Magazine Honors Women Of Color In Its 2022 Coveted Health Experts List

Women of color are winning in 2022 and it's showing!

Essence magazine published the details in 2021 stating, "According to findings compiled in a study by the National Center For Education Statistics, Black women have been obtaining degrees at a consistently high rate for the last eight years and counting. Information collected about the higher education among African-Americans between 2009 and 2010 shows that Black women accounted for 68 percent of associate’s degrees, 66 percent of bachelor’s degrees, 71 percent of master’s degrees and 65 percent of doctorate degrees awarded to Black students during that time frame."

Apparently, Hollywood Magazine got the memo and have honored 2 women of color, including Dr. Knitasha Washington who is the founder of ATW Health Solutions and serves as the Chief Health Correspondent for Legend Magazine.

Also on that list is Dr. Helene D. Gayle who is the Founder and former CEO of The Chicago Community Trust.
