As I lace up my shoes and prepare to ascend the steps in honor of fallen heroes and heroes of the Phoenix Children's Hospital, I am filled with a deep sense of purpose and gratitude. The memorial stair climb event is a powerful way to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their communities. This year, I invite you to join me in this meaningful endeavor and make a difference by donating to support this cause. The memorial stair climb event serves as a poignant reminder of the bravery and selflessness displayed by first responders who risk their lives to keep us safe. Participants, clad in full gear or carrying the photos of the fallen, ascend a designated number of stairs to symbolize the arduous journey these heroes undertook in the line of duty. I'm also recognizing the daily sacrifice of the heroes that work at the children's hospital. Their efforts have saved many children and changed the positive direction they faced to overcome adversity. This is a physically demanding challenge that pales in comparison to the challenges faced by those who gave their lives in service or continue to sacrifice to serve others.
